It depends what you call `worth it`.
I have re-loaded for about 46 years now and get great pleasure in producing bullets which have won me competitions, cleanly killed my Deer or vapourised my vermin.
It is rather like tying your own flies to an angler.
By skilfully re-loading you can extract the maximum accuracy potential from almost any rifle, something which cannot be achieved with a factory bullet.
There is also continuity of supply etc. as with so many different calibres currently in use sometimes a supply of factory fodder may run out, also a dealer is not happy to have numerous slow moving lines on his shelf.
It is also cheaper in the long run, my original Rockchucker press is still going strong since day 1.
