Our covid advice comes from a collection of hysterical mediocrities who presided over one of the world's worst outbreaks. Our vaccine came from the world's best universities and pharmaceutical outfits. It's notable that the latter successes came from independent outfits trying a range of different approaches. Our "medical advice" from a bunch of tools with good track records of failure who didn't even take their own advice. My mantra also - it appears that some people are determined to go against the medical advice almost out of spite as they are either fed up (bored?) or resent being told what they should do. At least in this country we are lucky (or could it be because the government did something right?) in having the vaccines and vaccinations available.
I wonder what could account for the difference in outcomes?

Evolution to the rescue ?
