That's great news. However if everybody just stayed locked up the virus would be completely eliminated and there would be zero cases reporting to hospital.

Loss of freedoms , loss of small businesses , big stores becoming vastly more profitable , big pharma making billions more profit pushing a vaccine that doesn't prevent , doesn't cure and increases the ability to spread whilst permanently altering your DNA not in a good way and causing many adverse reactions and deaths. All being paid for by US, THE TAXPAYER !

Loss of freedom- how? Yes for a short time whilst the pandemic was bought under control. But I can’t see how my life has changed that much.
Loss of small businesses- how is that an advantage. The part of GDP in the Uk that small businesses make up is massive. SME’s make up nearly 50% of this country’s GDP. Now if your objective is to go back to the dark ages fine. But I don’t believe that was the motive.
Big stores becoming vastly more profitable- really. I’ve been seeing plenty of big stores closing the last couple of years. Must be seeing different news channels.
Big pharma making big profits- when you sell billions of doses of vaccine and make 10p per vaccine then you make 100 million. The maths ain’t difficult and if you want big pharma to come up with the cure for cancer or insanity then they need to make a profit. You, the same as me are a product of capitalism. If you don’t like it then you have to move to a socialist state and see if that suits you better.
Vacvine don’t cure- you are right. They don’t cure, they give your body a fighting chance of winning a battle it could loose.
Altering your DNA- well I really can’t argue with that. But I’m sure that when the whole world is vaccinated and the Lizard people flick the big ass switch that turns us all in to zombie slaves that I’ll be ok because I won’t know it’s happening anyway.

No, I’ve had more than enough of that thanks, I’m vaccinated, so are my wife and kids, this is as good as its ever going to get for the rest of my life, so I’m choosing to resume a normal pre Covid lifestyle.
If you want to remain under close house arrest that’s your decision and you’re entitled to it, just don’t force the rest of us to comply.
Lockdown only works for as long as you’re prepared to stay locked down, once you open up the virus will spread again.
Surely you’ve noticed this after 5 previous lockdowns?
Herd immunity is the only defence, either by vaccination or exposure.

If you study the data you posted from the University study you will see that what it actually says is that 76.1% of US people educated to PHD level have no hesitancy whatsoever with regard to taking the vaccine.

The other 23.1% are "somewhat vaccine hesitant".

The health officials have said even with 80% vaccination they are not ruling out locking down. They are addicted to wasting my taxpayers dollars.

It's called evolution
A new species comes along and reproduces better than the old species.
The result is that the old species dies out
Because viruses replicate so quickly, a process that can take thousands or millions of years and animals can happen very quickly
