First attempt at European mount

Hi all,
Just finished cleaning and putting my first Munjac buck skull together for mount, what do you think?

I never bother with the lower jaw, just never looks right to me. Well done though good work.

Very nice brown fur on the one I got (in my profile pic) very odd looking deer though

I was debating on using it or not but thought it helps show the tusks off not sure I'd do it all the time though!

One of my local farmers calls them, ugly little dogs with horns.

Looking good. I had a go at full skull shield mount. I used the resin putty type stuff to fix a M8 nut in the atlas joint hole then bolted to the shield.

A friend actually has made brackets to hold the full skull trophies on the shield/wall where you can lift them off. I think he was planning on beginning to sell them but don’t know if he’s got round to it.

He gave me one to try when he was sorting out the design.
