FL sizing help needed

Hmmm.
Forget f/l resizing - for all but the most perfectionist (i.e. sad) shooters neck-sizing will do all you will ever need and you defo won’t scratch the case (pause for collective gasping/swooning/fainting from the “simply must do the f/l resizing only dahling thing” branch of the SD collective).
Simples….

I’ve neck size all for about 10 minutes and full length sized after that brain fart!

You need proper lube that’s the cause of your problem

I can’t see how castor oil or lanolin wouldn’t do the job but I’ll test the theory for sure
Spend the coin and buy the proper lube for the job, do that and I’ll wager your cases won’t be scratched

Have you not been reading what the experienced reloaders have been posting on your thread?

Don’t blame the dies when your not using the proper stuff for the job

Can't help but wonder why folk go to the trouble of knocking up a concoction to lube cases when you can buy a tin of imperial dixing wax fir £10 that lasts for literally thousands of rounds.
Anyway back to the original post. Its been suggested that the die are cleaned and polished.

Post #16 and it's £19 a tin now thanks to inflation ;)

Personally I can't stand faffing about with a finger tip and a tin of wax, I mix up half a tube of Lee case lube with isopropyl, dump that in a squirty bottle, spray it into a ziplock with 100 cases, give them a shake, dump them into a tray and then size them, haven't had a stuck case in 8 years.

Lanolin or castor oil mixed with isopropyl alcohol is exactly what Gavin from the Ultimate Reloader and the 6.5 guys use. Both considered experienced reloaders.
Yep, nothing wrong with it and the wrong lube won't stop debris or a burr in the die scoring your brass, it'll stop your cases getting stuck.

It's almost definitely an imperfection in the die or similar, having had similar experiences with the odd die from a couple of manufacturers here or there!

That sounds worse than using a finger. I'll be half done by the time you get started. 🤦
I also would not want lube in the primer pockets.
