I don't believe there are many factory rifles chambered for this round anymore; a shame really as it's a very effective round on fox at 4000+ fps..Is there a factory rifle produced today in swift? 22- 250 can almost match it with a longer barrel life and shorter action . Burns less powder , burns the barrel out much slower . Brass available in most shops and factory ammo , easier to moderate due to the lower fill and of course with the price of powder more economic .
This is just what happens to cartridges, they get bettered
You're right though, the 22-250 almost matches it, but i find .223 enough gun for fox for me these days, preferably with a fast twist.
