Does anyone know of a character in the South Lanarks area with a Scandinavian accent, tall and slim, who likes to drop his 'clients' off to stalk on other people's permissions?

A lot more common than you would think, caught a few Belgians on my land.

I could be wrong about the accent but I watch a lot of Scandi Noir on channel 4!
I bumped into a couple who were busy claiming ownership of a parcel of land that I know belongs to my neighbour
They had posted PRIVATE signs on the gate that they had chained and padlocked
Also strimmed the access
We questioned them and they claimed that the had bought it from a German trust in Sussex
Or was it a Dutch trust? They weren’t too sure
Everything about them and their story was dodge
Spoke to my neighbour and he set the land agent on them
The world is becoming weird

There was a character on the South Downs back in my younger days who had a habit of taking a party of guns to drives on other people’s shoots… pretty sure he did the same with stalkers too!
I can think of several even nearer than that…
Mate text me years ago about a group of 3 shooters well known for there stalking videos on YouTube , they made a video about stalking in the Kintyre peninsula and there clip showed them stalking into some roe , rifles slung over there shoulders and ready for action , just as well they never shot it because it was on my ground which I’ve shot for 40 years solely , showed the video to the farmer and he couldn’t believe it , he had never seen them before or given permission and left it up to me which way to proceed but because they didn’t shoot the animal I was told to leave a comment warning them off .
It wasn’t one of the very high profile YouTube stalkers was it ?
He shafted a pal of mine unbelievably down kintyre too.

Sooner or later one of these Guides will end putting his clients in serious legal jeopardy. Having and using a rifle on land where you have no lawful permission is a pretty serious offence in the eyes of the law. I know of one case in Scotland where an individual went away for a length of time that means he can never access to a firearm again. He claimed he had permission to shoot over the land in question - his mate said it was all good, but his mate had no authority to grant such permission.
Likewise if a guide says you can shoot somewhere, and he has no lawful authority to give you such permission, you could up being stalked with Barlinnie.

Well then, how when you buy in good faith a days stalking can you be sure of their legal right to be guiding on that land?

Nice to see this thread didn’t end up in accusations with names mentioned for no reason whatsoever. The insinuation has probably done damage already, and I suspect said individual probably isn’t most pleased
