Galaxy Notifications

I am getting notification bleeps on my Galaxy phone and numbers showing unread messages, but no messages listed. I think some bleeps refer to other notifications like SD postings etc, Is it possible that these bleeps refer to messages from blocked numbers I.E, suspected scammers?

Check which bleeps you have for different notifications if all set to the same change so that email has a different sound to texts eccetera i dumped my samsung after some calls didnt get through i had to turn off the phone once a month to stop this samsung have attrotious customer i dont care attitude

I have to do the same with my Samsung to keep it functioning, otherwise it just stops receiving calls and texts. A right pita.

My Samsung just has to run the Shotmarker and Garmin s/ware............wouldn't trust it with anything else......

If you go into 'settings', then 'notifications' you can individually set permissions for each app'. That'll stop notifications that you don't want. I allow messages, clock, and WhatsApp only. The rest are all muted
