God I hope not

Yes I agree the best of the bad bunch won and now needs to get on and do gods work. The rest of em can go do one for all I care. Can’t stand labour and all it stands for and that’s all down to Corbyn, abbotpotimus and thornbungle.

I secretly would have liked to see Corbyn get the job. I’m sure he would find it a lot harder leading the way and actually having to make decisions rather than simply objecting to everything that anyone does. I’m sure I read somewhere he has voted against more Labour motions than opposition ones?

Won't be surprised if he voted against his own policies. :p

Well yesterday's voting just goes to show what I've said all along about the idiots in my area....
Vote in referendum is a massive majority for leave, neck end of 70% voted out.....
Cooper the back stabber does everything in the power to thwart leaving the EU for 3 years.....
The constituency vote her back in yesterday.....
I'm circled by baffoons....

I am relieved by the result. Not particularly a fan of Boris but would've been suicidal if we had a party in power one of whose most prominant MP's couldnt even wear matching shoes or do simple arithmetic (you really couldnt make it up!).

My only gripe is the SNP having so much clout as I really detest their leader. If you look at the stats they ended up with 7.7% of seats whilst only getting 3.9% of the vote. Lib Dems got 1.75% of seats with 11.5% of the votes..... Clearly very unfair that the SNP have so much power for such a tiny share of the vote!

Tories clearly did best with 58% of seats with 43.6% of the vote whilst the other idiots broke even with 32% of seats for 32% of the vote.

Something don't seem quite right to me....

Yeah, great result Win, win as far as I can see.
Not sure the 1:3 children who will spend Christmas in poverty would agree. Another 5 years of Austerity might just finish them off.

it was a good campaign by the Tories and a ridiculous one by the other parties. Already Trump is licking his lips and looking at which piece of the UK he will get first. There is already talk of trade offs and farming and fishing being some of those which may get hit. Brexit will not be done for years and it is a shame that no one in Westminster could bring themselves to construct a cross party deal for the good of the UK. Such is the state of our rotten politics.
My constituency is yet to declare as in Kernow we do it dreckly but will have little impact in the final scheme of things but our fishermen might yet look back on today when the “level playing field” means we are 15% more expensive and no one wants to buy our produce as Spanish sell it cheaper and as we are no longer in the EU we cannot influence this.
I am a democrat and believe that the referendum should be upheld but with such a majority the Tories can do what they like and if I were a Brexitier I would not be celebrating too much until I see the final deal.
For me I benefit from this result, for my children I am not so sure time will tell.

Yeah, great result for Scotland and Wales/England. We get out of Europe and Scotland get another independence referendum and vote to leave the union. Win, win as far as I can see.
Do they have to wait a certain time after the last independance referendum before they can push for another one? I saw wee Jimmy do an interview earlier where she said Boris is in a position to take England out of the EU, but not Scotland now the SNP have so many seats so it's only a matter of time!

Well first of all it was a UK general election not an English one and secondly Scotland is not a stand alone member of the EU, GB is and is now leaving. The wee nippy sweetie will have to first gain the vote for independence and then apply for Scotland to join the EU. Let's see how she does with that...

Not sure which Planet you are on if you think the UK has real poverty then you need to travel a lot more, with regards to Brexit we will have a deal which means we may as well have stayed in. You say the US is licking it's lips why? The amount of US investment in the UK is already huge (just look at the amount of US commercial property funds in the UK) and always has been and in terms of size the UK market is tiny compared to the US.

You say children will spend Christmas in poverty does that mean they won't get the latest Iphone? The UK is a great place full of wealth and opportunities it is up to the individual to make a go of it (or not and bitch endlessly how unfair life is)

Haha, I have an innate dislike for politicians, bankers and lawyers. I do however believe that Boris is the man to get this done. Buster would have a whale of time in parliament!

Totally agree. If you travel to third world contries you will see what real poverty is and how they still manage to survive. The so called poor in the UK still has a dream of a life compared to working class in a lot of countries, who just struggle to survive. Food, water, shelter are the necessities but iPhone, PSP and flatscreen isn't. Just my view.

I met her yesterday. She came knocking on my door. Asking for my vote. Told her can’t vote for you lot while corbyn and abbot are on the front bench, Brexit should have been sorted years ago and not one current mp is fit to be in the commons. All without swearing.
