Good cheek raisers and sling suggestions?

So gents, looking for some ideas,(potentially a few xmas bits and pieces for the old man for Xmas).

I’ve tried the beartooth neoprene sleeve for the cheek raiser and it works fine but a bit of a faff to get it right initially.

My only experience with slings is the Z aim which is grand as a sling in it’s own right but find the clips a bit awkward to use it as it’s meant to be designed where it locks around your body.

Any brands or model suggestions ect would be very much appreciated!

Have a good weekend!

There's an Australian company that makes 3d printed comb raisers.
If you one on my T3 but it's got a bell and Carlson stock and still fits.

Here’s one I made out of a piece of leather for the base, strips of leather bonded on to give the height and cheek piece, with the toe and tongue of an old leather boot to cover it all over. It was done as a prototype, but works really well. It is laced on and I use the swivel stud to keep it in place. Takes a couple of minutes to lace on. One day I will make a neater one, but it has served me well for the last 10 years. 74969896-5E8C-47A0-9F91-49C5AF53F6ED.webp

Cheers guys, this claw sling seems a theme and good reviews online so that should be that sorted.

Are these cheek pads like what Hornady make a waste of time? They look good but don’t seem to elevate very much.

Thanks!

I'm a big fan of Hunters of England cheek pieces. Made of neoprene and lace on (corset style 😆). Have them on a couple of my rifles and can't fault them. Also a fan of Quake Claw and Niggeloh slings. Have tried but can't get on with Z aim or rucksack type slings.

Not a fan of the Z aim slings myself I use a Quake claw for most of my stalking and have a niggeloh as well I put on if I am going to be doing alot of walking both good slings.

I ditched my quake claw for being too sticky! Had a ridgeline one first time out Saturday night so far so good cheap as chips too

The Quake Claws are indeed very good. If you like keeping your gear light have a look at Redkettle simple but very well made.
