Yep - I've used money claim online, easy and fairly low cost UNLESS the respondent disagrees, at which point it will be heard in a brief country court hearing, thats where it can go tits up as in my case.... while in the waiting room the barrister sitting next to me with his client tells him "hope we dont get room 1.....the judge is a complete buffoon..."Money claim online I recall it's called - used it a couple of times in the past with good outcome. One word of advice though, if you are successful with your claim then uplift your judgement to the High Court & use a firm of enforcement officers as they have significantly greater power than county court bailiffs - much better chance of getting your back
Yep - I got called into room one.... claim was a consumer rites claim, judge openly admitted he knew nothing about the consumer rites law....
Try your hardest to get the respondent to agree to even the most basic payment plan before getting to the 'appearing in court' stage - as when you get there its not so Rumpole of the bailey, more like a comedy club.

I was also looking to order one after the emberleaf drama, heard they was as good for 1/3 the price thought I’d get one to compare to emberleaf I already had looks like I dodged a bullet there, looking into it all his reviews moaned about waiting timeThey either got a good one or there telling lies, it’s genuinely the worst knife I’ve seen for blunting and rusting

They really weren’t great. I was “fortunate” to receive mine before he decided to become a lying toe rag but it was rough as a badgers backside, probably a blessing he’s stopped making them to be honest! Not that that is any consolation for those out of pocket.

Because I said I would go to him and get my goods or money back, stop been a snowflake, it’s hardly a criminal offence going to someone who has scammed you and wanting your money/goods back, it’s not like I said go and rob/threaten/intimidate him, no mention or intention of carrying out a criminal act, only an idiot would do that.
Like most bullies or scammers, they won’t do it to your face, they hide behind the computer screen, when they open the door and realise you are a person, in the real world, things get resolved, threats or intimidation simply not required.

A third of the price of an Emberleaf is still a sizeable chunk of money, and expecting a decent knife in return for it doesn't sound like "too good to be true".At a third the priceisn't there a saying about if it sounds to good to be true
I feel for anyone who's been ripped off here.
