As far as I can see, "Climate Change" is a self fulfilling prophecy and nothing we can do, or have ever been able to do will stop it.
Since the end of the Ice Age (which came about all on its own, without any help from the fledgling humanoid population) the ice caps have been getting smaller as the temperature rises. As the temperature rises the ice cap gets smaller. As the ice cap gets smaller it allows the temperature to rise a little quicker, which then accelerates the melting of the ice cap. And on and on and on.
The fear being whipped up about it is less about halting/slowing climate change and more about increasing fear in the population to make them more compliant when raising taxes, and reducing opposition to the move away from fossil fuels.
The cynic in me recognises that populations are more easily controlled when they have something to fear that distracts them from the fact that they are being controlled.

As far as I am concerned no need for the tin hat, you are quite right. This silly little schoolgirl is nothing more than a puppet and a mouthpiece for those that are using her to make money for their selve.
She says "You stole my dreams, how dare you". "You stole my childhood, how dare you".
I say to her parents "You stole her dreams and childhood, how dare you"! You should let your daughter be a normal teenager but no, you are turning her into a little monster, how dare you"!

These people are "anti capitalists" and are using climate change, anti-hunting, etc as a cloak and an excuse for their intolerable behaviour.
They should be taken up to Glen Coe, and asked.......If Ice caused this valley to be formed so beautifully, and the landscapes of Scotland the The Lake district and many other places were formed by Ice Floes and melting Glaciers.........................what caused the Ice to melt.
The Earth has always been in a state of flux and always will be, it has been warming up since the last Ice Age and still is, the only catastrophe we are facing is that we should have know this was bound to happen, and done something about it.
We need to bring water management and water conservation under control, this may mean flooding large valleys and turning them into reservoirs, we need to manage tree lines, so that fires cannot spread, we need to stop surrounding houses with trees in areas of drought where fires can easily get out of control, etc, etc.
There is a lot we can do to ,minimise the inevitable effects of Global Warming,
