Heated socks?

i just bought some amazon ones, do the job, never been cold in them!!
fully rechargeable, don't need them on all day either, just as when by the press of a button.

I don’t use them, a pair of Meindl boots with merino wool socks and under layer works for me. I keep some heat pads in my trouser pockets and stand on a bit of foam or board if possible, I use a heated gilet under my coat with more merino long underwear as a base layer.
A sauna back at base completes the package.
Regardless of what you wear dont work up a sweat during the day, if you do youll get cold as soon as you cool down, and if the temperature goes below -10 or so it just gets really uncomfortable after a while.
A flask of hot liquid to drink helps.
Some of the hunts I’ve been on use phone apps to coordinate the day, the apps are power hungry and the low temperatures will affect your battery life, use a booster pack to get through the day.

I go away on four to five day hunting trips, and decided on heated inner soles, rather than needing multiple pairs of heated socks.

I just bought some extra inner soles for a different pair of boots.

I chose Therm-ic, because they do a contoured version, that give arch support, but you need to make sure the inner sole on your boots can come out, so your feet still have room.

So long as my boots and socks are warm and dry to start with, I can spend the whole day stood in snow, and never get cold feet, or toes.

I normally start them on the highest of three settings to warm everything up, then just turn them on occasionally. If it’s really cold out, I’ll just leave them on the lowest setting.

Make sure your core is warm. Make sure your boots are large enough to allow your feet to move around a bit and keep blood flowing.

Take a folding stool and / or a good pad to sit on. Or use your gunslip. Have a blanket, open sleeping bag or ideally an Ansitzsack (have a look in Frankonia) so you can be nice and warm.

My German friends use either a large boiler suit made of Lodencloth that goes over everything or a similar issued to tank crews but is padded down.

I have found your top half is easy to keep warm, its the legs that are the problem, hence blanket. I have seen these being pleated up and then secured like a long kilt. I just lay mine across my seat, sit down and the wrap it round me so when I stand It just stays behind.

Hands - by far the best is to keep them in your handwarmer pockets.

And don’t forget a good b’fast before you go.

I do have a few successful German visits under my belt, but advancing years have given me notice, my tips of the shoulder blades, the moobs, fingers & toes will start to complain after around four hours.

I am German, I live and I hunt in Germany. But I never sit anywhere for longer than 3, maybe 3 1/2 hours. If I did I would strike root with the fertile soil around here🤣.

I use Savior heated socks and gloves and both are great. The gloves are really well made, comfortable, and have opening trigger fingers on both hands (for lefties) and are by a long way the best gloves I have ever owned, and I have owned a lot of gloves!

Gone are the days of having cold extremities on my poste, where you can find yourself for up to 6 hours here.
