I wholeheartedly agree, but there are a multitude of places out there knocking 'stuff' up. I could also knock one up in my shed and call it 'Made in England', doesn't make it any good.A very high percentage of ,stuff, may have another makers name on it but is made in china….. or its components are! if you used nothing from there you would own next to nothing.
When I was restoring cars and converting vans the phrase 'buy cheap, buy twice' always came up, it generally rang true.
Material quality, manufacturing quality, labour quality etc etc after all China is a big place, there's not only one factory out there.
Make sure the CO alarm is up near the ceiling and def keep a window cracked open, that will also help removing CO.Condensation, crack window or as mine is an old defender 90, there are plenty of drafts.
