Can anyone help with the space for the rear passengers in the trucks with 4 doors. Enough for big lads or is it a bit tight?
ThanksI've just got a 2.8 Hilux model, moving from a Ranger. The Hilux is much more cramped inside , front and back... Definitely a tight fit...
Even with front seats right back, I'm still a bit cramped up... which would leave anyone in the back tucked up like a sardine..Thanks
Anybody, even medium size, will hate you for putting them in the back of a HiLux (or a Mitsubishi L200)Can anyone help with the space for the rear passengers in the trucks with 4 doors. Enough for big lads or is it a bit tight?

I like the Hilux don't get me wrong it feels solid and built to last.... the ranger is neigh never going to last as long or be as durable... but its a lot more spacious, more comfortable seats, quieter and drives a lot more like a car... I do like the ranger, a lot of people slate them, mine was the first of the 2.0 Bi-Turbo models, loved it, but was time for a change and I didn't like the new model, looked at the Amarok too and it had too many bad reports and faults on the new one, so stopped looking into it...Thanks you bruce
Dreams of a family pick up shelves once more…
Everything has more space in the back than an L200new shape ranger has allot more space in the back than my old L200.
You have a point. I once climbed from the front to the back of my L200 after spotting a fallow doe in a shootable location. collecting my rifle off the back seat on the way I exited a rear door and took the shot of the bonnet. Being of ample height and width it was an experience that wasn’t without a fair amount of questionable English.Everything has more space in the back than an L200

Thanks - that’s the next step although I might not try that hard!Have to be honest, I was impressed with the four door Hilux, more comfortable that the Isuzu I tried after it. There again, I'm not exactly tall or heavily built.....
My best suggestion @Essexsussex would be to try one out with the family/friends and see if you (and them) can live with it.
