How long after feo is usual for tickets issued ?

I had my feo interview which went really
Well and even got another rifle added to the application. Our land got passed off no issues and other land on application the same and contacted my references also.
It’s been 3 weeks now since and I was just wondering if this is the usual amout of time after the interview for tickets to arrive.

Unfortunately its all paper pushing after the FEO does their visit... I had a pal who had to wait over a month, although once it hit the 1 month point, a polite email to the FLD asking, "hope everything's alright, been a while since visit and still no ticket, is there any additional documentation that I can help with?" was sent.

Surprise suprise, he was told the following day that he should get his ticket in the post the following week...

Funny you should say that I was waiting for the interview so I’d sent an email and then later that day I had the phone call and the feo wanted to come that day but unfortunately it didn’t match my work schedule but was sorted 2 days later and he even came outside his working hours which was extremely good of him

Presumably this is a new application?
Patience is your friend and after past and recent events they rightly need to be cautious, a polite prompt at one month sounds like your best line for resolution.

Most likely depends on the height of the piles on in/out trays.

Mine was a renewal, interview in January and license received in June. So could take a while.

I have found them pretty good.

Depends on which way round your police go about it. I have been involved with two initial issue FAC's recently. With one, in Suffolk, FEO attended within weeks and then nothing happened for one year. On the other, in Shropshire, nothing happened for eighteen months. Then FEO visit and issue within three weeks. You pay your money and takes your chance.

So I sent a message to my FEO and he said my documents will be with me
Next week sometime and also said I’ve got an open ticket straight away
