I wish I'd never BOUGHT that

Beretta Silver pigeon. Had so many problems with the selector switch on the safety catch changing position each time I opened the action. Sometimes it would change over from bottom to top barrel. Other times it would go to mid position and jam up the whole action. Must be a common issue as trap versions have a grub screw to lock selector switch in one position. Wont buy another Beretta as long as I live!

Had mine a fair few years and never suffered similar after putting through a few thousand carts. Probably one of the best shotguns I've owned in fact! (That and an AYA #4)

my misses wishes i never brought our dog all she does is sit at back door step winging shes not allowed in when misses is he when shes gone to work me pooch sneaks in but she leaves evidence on kitchen carpet straw

My worst buy was a neglected Yamaha Big Bear quad off EBay on a Friday night after a few too many beverages. Had to travel from Somerset to Stirling (!) to pick it up too. It was a wreck! Lesson learned; beer and EBay is not a marriage made in heaven lol

Sold my house years ago and emmigrated to USA

Was convinced by some spiv to buy e type jags 'cheap' in USA to b exported for the EU market

Purchases coincided with crash of 90's

Started with £130,000 and finished up several years later with £28,000

Lesson learned - greed and stupidity are a poor mix

Without wishing to rub salt in the wounds, if only you still had those e-Types now!

An inflatable stalking cushion. The valve was pants and the whole thing worked as a woopie cushion. Binned the inflation bag and replaced it with a closed cell foam and still use it today.

Toyota 3ltr td hilux, fuel guzzling over heating bag of c**p. Never another Toyota, over rated junk.

Country Covers/Fortis smock, crap.
New Butler Creeks, crap.
Ridgeline Monsoon, crap.
Harkila boots, crap.
La Chameau wellies, crap.

Another one for first wedding ring!
Harkila boots
BMW X5 (blown gear box you name it)
Numerous shooting related carp that I should have just ignored and saved up for proper kit!

Sako 75 in .243.

The single most ludicrously overrated piece of equipment I have EVER owned. And I have had various kit addictions for most of my life.

Every Hardy reel I've ever owned (2 bought new, plus the 4 replacements Hardy sent to make up for their failings). So badly designed it's as if someone actually set out to make a fly reel garunteed to fail.

Standard swis army knife (penknife), the one we have all had! - must have 6 scattered around draws/jackets, dont think i have ever bought one, certainly never used one. Waste of stainless steel and red plastic.
