Meanwhile, from Malaysia:
Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah has acknowledged that Ivermectin “is cheap, easily available and safe for use.” But in Malaysia, it is only licensed for use in animals.

Plan C might be to quietly allow IVM to do the heavy lifting, given its ability to break the chain of virus reproduction, thus stopping any further spread of the illness by vectors, unlike vaccinated people, who can still catch, incubate and shed more virus, for others to in turn catch. Can't see those vaccinated sitting tight for the rest of the year, they've probably regained at least a bit of their confidence and want to get out and get back to 'normal', like the govt has suggested they will be able to do, once we are all vaccinated?
It is worth remembering that Ivermectin was originally developed as a medicine
for use in humans, not animals, it was found later to be equally effective in these, other fellow animals sharing the planet. Somehow, this fact has been, somewhat conveniently for some, forgotten. Or overlooked. Or ignored, hidden from the public, turned on its head, etc.
Nothing much in the Ivermectin 'search' over on the BBC website still, a mention on 20th July last year in an anti-Bosanaro piece majoring on his controversial advocacy for the use of Hydroxychloroquine after Trump's endorsement of the same. Maybe the Oxford guys haven't bothered to inform the Beeb that they're conducting their own trials now, apparently they're a bit suspicious of the experiences elsewhere, and also the meta analysis of Dr Hill over in Liverpool, which is rather significant in itself, given the overwhelmingly favourable outcomes recorded.
