Jamesons, how do you drink yours?

Barry Crockett, master distiller Jameson and Midleton recommended a drop of water in whiskey to bring out the flavours.
I was in a job that got me a bottle of Midleton Very Rare every year while the job lasted. It made up for a lot of s+it. A lovely drop.

Jamesons just fine neat. Controversial, but I much prefer Irish singles to scotch.
There’s a man that knows his whiskey. 👍

Neat over 3 cubes of ice or a tall one with ginger beer. I see various of us have recommended with ginger ale. Too sweet for my taste but with a good ginger beer, think Bundaberg, it’s marvellous. I lament the passing of M&S’ ginger beer.

Oh you lucky, lucky barstool. I’ve seen bottles of Midleton in the Celtic Whiskey Shop for north of €2500 😳. Yes, a drop of water can open up the flavours.

Well I've tried a wee (Well not really so wee) drop of Jamesons (Neat) I think it tastes fine neat - It's still warming me nicely on it's way down, but I'm not 100% sure so I'm afraid I'll just have to try another! :norty:
