Just bought a tikka t3x looking for advice

Yeah i get that , i am not thinking lead will be re-appraised - But will manufacturers carry on making lead bullets ie running the lines , when folks are being pressed for lead free only at the Game dealers and other customers ? How will other nations globally ? Will Starmer do it to us just for spite because can at this particular window of time. Other European nations putting pressure on regards exports ( remember most of our venison goes to export )
Personally i have been using copper in the main part because much of the land i stalk on have gone to non-Tox only . Market forces are perhaps might prove more powerful than than parliament here in the uk?
I think the US will be producing lead bullets for quite some time. I hunt with them and don’t think twice.

Yeah and some states like CA where I think the first to bring in state laws to ban lead a long while back . That really boosted Barnes and now with products like the tTSX is most likely the biggest . Personally i started with copper when the FC started to put the guys into none tox . Now its spreading all over the world ( although brass solids etc have been used on large and dangerous Game way before anyone of us was alive, let alone shooting anything )
I think the fact that the Chinese now own the majority of the copper rights in the like of Zambia , we might see even more alloyed new products for bullets ( oh China buys the biggest slice of all the worlds scrap metals )

I shoot federal 55gr in mine and have it in a Tika CTR stick with the 10 shot CTR magazine

I did have it in a krg bravo with AI mag but it was way too heavy for carting about

The U.S. produces more than half of domestic copper needs and what it imports it gets mostly from S.America so bullets will be made of copper for some time...--Muir

True but China is backing way from Central and South American interests. This is where we make up for import needs, as i posted. Mexico and South America.-Muir
