Kipplauf advice- K95/ K3&4 etc?

Hi I normally load TTSX in 168gr or 150gr for my 30-06, initially I was thinking of a 130gr TTSX load but had the 150gr at hand. What powder are you using, I am assuming ADI considering you appear to live next door ;)
Hi , I'm using 748 Winchester but that is getting hard to get regularly, 2206 would I think give similar results. Tac powder is also very good in the 308 with light projectiles. 3150 fps was easy to get and that's not a max charge.

Although I have a k95 it is not as beautiful as yours the wood is outstanding also the stock seems a lot more in line I take it isn’t the hog back type

No it is as straight as a R8 Success stock, I am not sure if they still do the hogback stock. I have an R8 Success with grade 4 timber as my go to hunting rifle and it feels like sandpaper when compared to Blaser's Super Finish on the K95, insane level of detail.

Hello!

Just became an proud owner of the new Rizzini R1K in 7x65r. It was a long process of chosing a kipplauf. Unfortunatelly I was a couple years late to buy a Haenel Jager9 since they are no longer produced. Used one are extremly rare, sold faster than burger or in odd calibers which dont suit me (30R Blaser etc which is waaayyy too strong for my taste) So after that it was K95, K5 or Sabatti SKL 20. Went to see Blaser K95 and honestly I was not impressed. It looked like half done CNC job....For a premium and more price u get a damn torx screws....TORX screws!!!!! Would understand if it would be 1000$ gun, but not 4500 euro....And plastic trigger gunard turned me off....K5 was a little better, it definetely suits some people, for my taste they just went too far with minimazing everything. Extremly small and light gun. If u are looking for that kind of a gun, go for it. Then I stumbeled across Rizzini R1K. It was the love on the first sight. No torx, no plastic. Even titanium, not aluminium. And cheaper than K95, a few hundred more than cheapest K5. Got in true European kipplauf caliber, 7x65r. So far it has been great, shoots solid. Will see after it gets a few more shots through and proper load is developed. Only downside is trigger. It is not horrible, but here Blaser has the edge.

Have you considered FAIR? (Fabbrica Armi Isidoro Rizzini)

I have two FAIRs. I have an express double rifle and a combination gun. The combination gun is in 6.5x55 and 12 guage and the 6.5x55 rounds extract properly.

FAIR also makes a beautiful kipplauf and you should check it out. Of course you can't go wrong with Merkel or Blaser. But FAIR makes a high quality gun at a more affordable price.

Here's the FAIR K-500 kipplauf. It weighs 2.75 kg or 6 pounds. The K 500 Deluxe sells here for $3200. The K500 goes for $2800.

I would love to have the .22 Hornet version as a walk around gopher hunting gun
