Kit bag.

Hi everyone,
Been thinking about getting a waste pack type bag to carry all my kit in while I am stalking. It would need to fit a gambrel, knife, chest saw, a small length of rope or a strap, a couple of plastic food bags for liver and kidneys, a couple of pairs of latex gloves and some spare ammo. I would ideally like to have a a couple of pockets so I can keep some stuff separate and preferably be water proof.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a bag that would fit the bill?
Thanks
Dave

Have you thought about a jacket with a game pocket?

Used to carry the kitchen sink, but with knife and saw down the wellies, pockets and game pocket swallows everything.

If you have to carry out a beast up to roe, Napier Apex is very good.

Have been carrying stuff in pockets and it works but I want to try a pack for my gralloch kit so I can put it down when laying prone or up a high seat.

Get yourself a belt with a molle sleeve then you can add whatever shape and size pouches you want! ;)
For example I have one, a "medical" British army pouch that nicely fits a Leica 1200 lrf plus torch plus insect repellent.
Plenty of options with a bit of trial and error :D

I got a back pack from Decathlon, ideal. It has the main part to put all sorts in and several outside pockets of different shapes and sizes with net covering. Ideal for knife, water bottle, first aid accessories and even a pocket and strap to carry your rifle so your hands are free for binos and sticks.
Cost about £30 or there abouts, ordered on line and collected in my local ASDA a couple of days later.

Have a look on the Fortis / Country Covers site. They are selling fishing belts for £10in the clearance section. They are made of Cordura with plenty of pockets. The two reviews are both from stalkers.

there Will be a tending going in the Mitchells sporting auction at Cockermouth if that’s any good mate

Tha ks for all the replies and idea guys, some nice looking kit there, I think I will have a try with a cheaper one to start with and see how I get on, some of the bags look great though.

I had the same query last year. Tried a Snugpack Respose as a starter and have stuck with it. Its cheap and it works for me.
