Fibrox-handled Victorinox. Not 'posh' but excellent quality chef's / butcher's knives.

Nisbets do a great range at all price ranges. See if you can look at their on line knife guide and see if you can buy online.
I have all sorts, Sabatier, Dick and Victorinox. All the Victorinox are excellent, have plastic handles and are dishwaher safe. They are very sharp and keep good edges.
Saying that I have a Sabtier set in a block which was a wedding present 26 years ago. Solid handles still going strong.

Yes, I've just read their guide, and think I could justify buying every type of knife...I love Nisbets. So much stuff you never knew you needed...![]()
A nice set of knives, shame they won't be coming from over the pond if I was to order them for a while.I was given this as a gift 20 odd years ago, I still use it today and its every bit as good.

I have other knives but this set is only used to process and butcher game, kitchens are hard on knives when non knife people are given access to them.![]()
these were in UK, I'll try and find the link.A nice set of knives, shame they won't be coming from over the pond if I was to order them for a while.
Thanks chaps! I'm looking for a block too, because I hate just throwing my knives in the draw or the utensils pot!
