Dont follow football John:roll: overpaid idiots as far as I am concerned. However your remark about the red card made me smile :)

Could I use said card to slam it in somewhere or would you prefer me to show the red card first and give a prior warning  your thoughts please ;)

Blimey $65 dollars thats a steal for a knife of this quality the same knife over here is close to £200

Best purchase I have made in knives in quite some time. During last hunting season I gave away three of my "carry" knives to folks who -for some reason or another- showed up at camp without a blade of their own. Buying these for the kids and myself seemed justified, not only because of the price, but to repay myself for such selfless generosity... a trait I am not much known for and one for which I deemed a reward of some sort necessary. Seriously though; I wish I'd bought a dozen of them! They also had the Puma "Skinner" model for $10 more. Sweet blades! ~Muir

I will put my oar in and stir the pot. I have lost, abused and misused knives in my days in the Navy and general boatbuilding and carpentry. When I am on the hunt, I use a CRKT folder with 1/2 serated blade, that takes a good edge and I can saw thru the sternum to open the chest cavity. I have a wirkkala puukko that I just took out of the drawer and is scary sharp. It was expensive and heavy so it stays at home mostly. I have a 5" puukko with a koa handle and handmade sheath that I carry alot, very sharp and handy, the blade cost $2 at a gun show. I like Bucks, but I have broken most of them even the Buck Master throwing it at an old herring boat in Lowestoft. Snapped an 1+" of the tip, sent it back and they replaced the whole knive no questions asked. CRKT has done the same. Knives are the most expensive least effective prybars made. Dull knives cut you. I worked for 2 months on the kill floor of a slaughterhouse here in MI, Forschner blades ,you had to keep it razor sharp or you might as well use a screwdriver. Jap waterstones are the best at home but I have a small folding diamond coarse and fine steel that I sharpen my broadheads and is very handy. I carry way more gear than I need. If you are happy with your blade and fits all your legal perimeters, cut away. I like the orange survey tape on someone's sheath, I am still looking for my grandfather's blade that I laid down during a gutting session in the oak leaves , never to be found again. Beware of the bitter kiss of the razor!

Welcome to the site Kangaroo...I can't, however, see your first post lasting very long as it breaks site rules.

Is it possible to sell my knife on this website? could someone point me in the right direction of how to do so please? much appreciated.

Not sure wether to sell my Puma White hunter knife or keep it, as the value of these knives seem to be going up all the time, then again, I could give it as a present to one of my uncles in the US who hunts deer, not sure if he hunts boar or bears, but i guess this knife would be good for that kind of game also?

I went out shooting Wednesday afternoon, when I got home I realised my sheath knife wasn't in the sheath,I took the breast off 3 woodies and put it back in sheath,I couldn't of put it in properly, went looking this morning and found it after 2 hours of searching :D,I was we'll happy,

Fold out Stanley knife, perfect depth for zipping open, keeps an edge ok but then you can turn the blade round!
whole thing goes into the dishwasher or soak in boiling water. Remove immediately and lightly oil.... ;-)

I have just bought myself a swingblade. Anyone owns one? they seem nifty...

Yes, I own one, but these days hardly ever use it as - like any folder - everything gets stuck in the crevices. Fine if all you're doing is one deer, but a pain in the backside otherwise. Now use the Mora or a small Fallkniven WM1.

That said, I have way more knives than I need.

I can't help but smile when I read all the posts saying "use a £10 knife, cheap and cheerful" from the same people who will then defend a £1,500 scope on the basis of "pay cheap, pay twice".:-D

Well I must admit a fondness for a cheap knife whilst out hunting... I invariably loose one!
Generally stuck with the tenet for knives, bins etc 'take out what you can afford to loose'.

The WM1 is a very nice and vastly underrated blade - well done WG!

Just testing some of the relatively new Gerber Myth Compact knives. Had switched off as any series with a 'gut hook' on the back tends to lose my interest. Probably pedantism gone mad as it is supposed to be a compact and ultra light knife - but found myself wishing they'd just beefed it up a smidge more - not much, just a bit.

Sheath is a great design - though not a fan of carbide sharpeners ( which is integral with the sheath ). The black and dark olive colour scheme looks great to me - but isn't going to help those who spend more time going back looking for lost knives than stalking ;)

How come we find it so easy to lose track of knives, but we don't often mislay a £2000 pair of binos? :D

Cough - did have to walk back for my zeiss rangefinder bins - once!

Thank you, though I only got it thanks to a member of this site who was selling it. It has rapidly become my "go to" knife, whether for stalking, game shooting, fishing or whatever. Using the standard kydex neck sheath makes it very handy to have around and far less likely to be lost.;)

On the question of things lost, have had to drive 45 minutes back to the stalking ground more than once to pick up my sticks that I'd left leaning against the side of the car.
