Lee de capping die

Is the pin in the Lee de capping die removable. I’ve tried with mine and it won’t budge. I’d like to replace it with a smaller diameter pin, so I can use it on 6br cases and it’s slightly bent.

Yes it is removable.

You can buy packs of the capping pins for the two flash hole sizes, as you probably know.

I think the Universal Decapping Die is a one piece unit. The pin is not removable. Lee will probably send you one for free.~Muir

That is the case on my Lee UDD, (Mine is now30+ years old) However (for clarity) the whole rod & pin assembly is removable/replaceable.

Mine isn’t. I change out the decapping pin regularly. It’s #90292.

Thanks for the link. I didn’t know that they did a 17/20 cal pin. I will have to invest in one of those. Handy for pre case tumbling.
