Looking for a day/night scope for my new 22-250

Any recommendations on a day night scope for my new rifle (22-250) Will be used predominantly for night work shooting out to 200yds (max) with the occasional day trip thrown in. I have heard good and bad on the wraith, pard and atn.

I’m leaning towards a wraith however any Suggestions and real time observations would be great.

Cheers.

As Bruce says I would suggest you give the Wulf 4k a look when they arrive. I have just delivered more footage to Optics Warehouse today, among it are bits with 210 yds on a gate with a 940 Dark Engine and 512 yds at cattle with a big 850nm LED. All the ranges were lasered with a Pard 008LRF.

Which is rather an interesting comment , I presume the Pard could see that far too then ? With its err built in rangefinder for the same money.....

All that being said the Wulf 4k in its various guises, have been around in the UK for a few months now, No Ive not looked through one , but most describe them as being very similar to the ATN 4k, which it is based/ripped off from.

Correct the Pard 008LRF/DE combo (original version 008 and better than latter versions I believe) could indeed see that far, but only goes up to approx 13x. I will always keep it as a very capable pocket sized spotter/LRF when confirmation of a thermal target is needed, but would never trust its mount for rifle work.
I did a side by side comparison of the Wulf 4k, Sightmark Wraith 4k and the ATN 4k. The Wraith 4k is closest to the Wulf in terms of performance/build quality, but IMHO the Wulf benefits from the 30mm tube format for easier/robust mounting and bigger screen. The build quality of the ATN 4k was S!!T with the buttons and wheel very wooly, also the image looked washed out.

Im not going to argue with you , you are very keen to push the virtues of the Wulf it seems, and I know your mates at OW have invested heavily in gaining sole import rights to it, but much like the comparison chart on their website, your opinion of 'which is best' is just that , an opinion.
Having owned most digital NV products of late, and once a seller of Pard products, Ive extensively field tested them with various torches at some pretty extreme ranges for clarity ect.

Do you know whats been sat on .223 fox rifle , and has done for a year now? Because I consider it the best for the job ? An ATN 4K/ABL with a Wraith laser, and no , it doesnt have wooly buttons or wheel

I do hope theyre letting you keep the Wulf for all the plugging youre doing for them ?

Without wishing to get into any finger pointing……….
I had an ATN 4K and it was sh*t…….heavy as a brick type thing and always ALWAYS froze up on me when in use.
I couldn’t get rid of it quick enough.
I think the Pards are great units, but completely agree that the mounts are rubbish (hence spending on an innomount).
The wraiths look interesting, but never looked through one.
It’ll be more interesting when a mate gets the Wulf and I can see with my own eyes if I’d move from my Pards.

You must have had a very good ATN 4k then, or mine was a very bad one !

Here's a question guys, can the yukon 470 's be a little light sensitive like the Pulsars or can they handle IR bounce back ok?

Although it goes against the grain on SD I owned an ATN 4k and it never let me down and was used extensively- daytime I would describe as good and night time capable and accounted for plenty of gear - I upgraded to a Drone 10x which is excellent at night which is the only reason I don't have the ATN now - I tried the Pard N 800 but found it didn't like large calibre CF rifles or at least the one I owned didn't

Regrettably selling it off as I can't remember the last time I used it since getting a thermal scope.

Comes with 1 normal battery thats a bit temperamental and a large one. 2 x fn56 adaptors and 1 x fn50 adaptor, flip up lense cover, charger, case and a pbir x with adjustable mount.

Looking for £950 ono

I have the above and use a wicked lights IR. Gives me plenty of options for ratting rabbits and foxes without having a dedicated night set up and can swap between the rim fires and centre fires.
Not a bad price especially with 3 adapters.
