Bloody hell, I was just thinking that I hadn’t heard anything from him for a while. RIP Bruce. His knowledge was immense and he was always happy to give advice.
I never personally ever had any interaction with Bruce but I got the impression from his various posts that he really knew what he was talking about and was willing to help everyone. So sad to hear of his passing.
Sad news indeed, Bruce was extremely generous with his wealth of knowledge on all things NV & thermal.
Condolences to all his family and friends.
RIP Bruce.
Sad news indeed.
Those close to him will surely miss him greatly. Sincerest condolences to them all.
For our part, we will miss him often: every time a night vision query pops up in our minds and causes us to recall with sadness that he's no longer around to answer it with his inimitable combination of confident expertise and generosity of spirit... only then to remember with warmth how very often he gave us the benefit of both.
I had gathered from his recent posts that Bruce was not well but had no idea his passing was imminent. He was exceptionally helpful in relation my night vision/thermal queries and annealed brass for me, too. He will be sorely missed.
Was up seeing him last week in hospital
Good blether

Oh no, that's awful news. I've message Bruce hell of a lot of times, here & airgun forum. So much k knowledge & happy to share. One of those that really is a loss as a contributor on here. Not ashamed to admit i often spent an evening watching him & Russ in Bruce's man cave reviewing kit.
Not sure if rip is appropriate as i knowl his opinion on religion!! BruceAlmighty - you'll be missed mate
I’m so sorry to hear that, it was only yesterday that I thought he’d been a bit quiet of late
I’ve known him from the early days of the nightvisionforumuk and bounced ideas off him more than several times over the years. His knowledge and expertise was invaluable to myself and many others, he’ll be sorely missed.
My condolences to his friends and family.
