Muntjac and air compressors

I was having a conversation last night and we were discussing the joy of skinning munties.
The conversation came up regarding using air compressors under the fur to separate the skin and fur. So of course, I had to go online and google, and apparently, it is a thing. Not necessarily munties, but using compressors. Looked at a couple of American videos.

So, anybody do it over here?
Pros? Cons?

Yes, Service compressor air in not clean (just look at the yellow water/oil that comes out of the drain)
How do I know this, had spray workshops with triple filters also tested and pumped dive tanks which require the air to be clean and dry.
Re muntjac let them rest out of the chiller for 30/40mins or go down the gym

It's not a legal method in abattoirs over here, but no reason why you couldn't try it on an animal destined for home consumption only.
You need to use a compressor that's set up for delivering clean air (such as is used for filling dive bottles, I believe).

Just noticed someone asked the same question back in April. Doh.
Yes, I did wonder about contamination.

Does the resting before skinning make that much of a difference?
Yes I find it has done as I was going to skin one and got called away for 30 mins but in-truth I do quite a few so just get on with it them as I shoot them all year around so in the warmer months want them done asap.

Yes, muntjac are the majority of my shooting. My, how I laugh at people who shoot fallow and reds.
Met the landowner the other day. Did you shoot anything?
I tapped the side of my bag, one in there. 12 kilos to carry out.
Reds are the majority of my shooting. My, how I laugh at the poor souls who have to shoot muntjac. Which take twice as long to skin as a red and produce a fraction of the meat ;)
