Yes had 2 rifles with me in May and both had mods.

Hunting was excellent. I got 2 Hartmanns, Gemsbok, 2 Warthog, Klipspringer, Damara Dik Dik. I visited 3 farms with a view to using one as our concession for clients. Will actually be using 2 out of the 3.

Thanks guys, i,ll be hunting Red hartebeest and Oryx mainly. Did you need any paperwork to get rifles into Namibia. i know there is a bit of paperwork on arrival just wondered if anything else was required.

On arrival you will need to join a queue and get a form from the police to temporarily import your guns - its better if you have a pen as well (take several) because they will run out. They will inspect the weapons and the numbers. You will also need an "Invitation to Hunt" from the outfitter in Namibia - not the agent (if you are using one...) - they should send this without being asked.

Don't know why you'd want to lug a moderator all that way though.

I was there in April and took oryx, red hartebeest and kudu (another one ). Had a blast of a time.
