Namibia?

Anyone with first hand knowledge able to Suggest a PH or trusted Namibia hunting outfitter please?
Really only interested in plains game, kudu, oryx, impala etc

I was in Namibia 5 months ago. For plains game, the Khomas Conservancy area is a good value option less than 2 hrs drive from the main airport. No high fences, animals can roam beyond the 4' beef fences. I do not have the wide experience of others in this thread, but I have hunted in both SA [three different areas] and Namibia. Game presented in more numbers at Heusis [8.5kHa] than at any safari I have been on previously.

Phillip at Khomas Hunting made my trip there one to remember. Mine was a non-trophy package of cull candidates, and the price was competitive with other outfitters. Hospitality was top draw, food superb, and accommodation brilliant! [our room looked out over the watering hole]

Another plus with Phillip is that he has an amoury of firearms including a Mauser action 30 cal, a 300win Blaser, a .375 and a few others. So even though flying into Namibia with your own firearm is a doddle, you do not need to take transport a rifle. You can use the estate rifle for a nominal fee.

Hi there I can thoroughly endorse Kowas Safaris having been there personally a few times. Really nice people and great fair chase hunting ethically carried out by all involved in their organisation. They have a great camp and hunting area only about an hour south of the airport and a new area in the north in the National Park area which I’m going to visit in 2012.
Check out their website and feel free to say I recommended them 👍

I've hunted with Khomas Highland Hunting Safaris three times, Omuramba Hunting once and Eureka Hunting Safaris once and would recommend all three.
Namibia is a dream to hunt, easy to take firearms into and out of if you can get them there after the Covid-19 situation.
I always flew with SAA but I doubt they will be the same after the travel ban is lifted.
There are many good outfitters in Namibia, it's up to you to choose the area and animals you wish to hunt.

Have a read of this. If it interests you let me know by PM and I'll send you details :-
