Not at all my friend, in fact it’s very sweet most of the time just that it’s occasionally soured by these awful acts. If I seem some what upset by these events it’s because I don’t like law breakers and I don’t view the world through a socialist utopia lense and applaud the acts of criminals.
You underestimate how far some of these people would go.
You can't call them that any more! I had a copper tell me off for doing so. Caravan utilising nomadic travellers is what they are now known as round here....

I'm really worried about that, the vermin we encounter now are a complete waste of oxygen. They are nothing like the wagon/varda gypsies I met in my youth for the spud picking, some of whom I still have contact with. The Smiths, the Lees, Boswell's etc who were fairly dark skinned and the ladies had rolled up plaits in buns on the side of their heads.
The mammals in the picture were all killed by dogs. The birds were found with steel ball bearings embedded in there carcasses most likely fired from catapults. This is a regular occurrence around the southern counties. Who do you suggest may have done it?? Try phoning Hampshire and Isle of White police Country Watch team and ask them for their opinion. The answer may be veiled but they will link it directly to known perpetrators. Proving it and securing a conviction is another matter, especially when a single police officer is expected to cover vast rural areas on their own.
Hi @Brambles, my 1st dog was a cur-bred lurcher, she taught me much more about hunting & dogs than I ever did her.
I would love a good mid-sized lurcher, however my friend who had a big lurcher had to carry a knife on all dog walks in case it got a roe so no go.
I fancy a Wherrier... Whippet X Terrier, preferably a working Lakeland x decent working Whippet, but we have few rabbits anymore so it would be mainly used for rats, maybe one day...

Same here - we used to be heaving with rabbits - seen a few this last year for the first time in probably ten years. Hare population has grown nicely though.
