New season upon us

Another autumn and winter season is about to begin for us all.
Personally I don't know where all the years have gone too, time seems to fly by these days to me. In a few weeks time I will again be visiting my areas in the highlands, with a full diary, and overseas clients backed up from the Covid pandemic, at last we can get them out on the Red and Sika rut, and I am looking forward to being out on the hill again. But most of all to get stuck into the Sika rut.

With new areas under our control the remainder of the first part of winter up to Christmas is also just about booked out on Fallow/Roe/CWD and Muntjac. The priority is to get on top of the Fallow again, and hopefully beat the 150 odd taken last year.
My personal thanks to all those clients who book every year with me, and to all the news ones. I look forward to meeting you all in the coming weeks. Also again to my guides who go above and beyond to get clients a result, sometimes in difficult circumstances. Jason, Dave and Marcel.

Lastly I wish you all the very best of luck with your stalking this coming Autumn and winter. I hope you are all successful in filling your freezers with good fresh meat. Be safe, be careful, and thank you for your support of the site.

Good luck to you to Malc. Having been out with your self and Jason with some SD buddies last year and planned dates for this year, long may your stalking days continue and hopefully we can help with the 150 fallow down south this year 😃 🙏.

Best of luck fellas

Best of luck with the Fallow down South. A good friend of mine helps in a syndicate who are reduction culling fallow, some of the photos of the size of the herds they have down there are quite shocking and incredibly challenging to stalk.

The years may fly by but I find if I take a minute or two every so often to recall my more memorable stalking outings, the memories soon come flooding back. I actually started keeping a stalking register/diary to help with this.
