night vision scope recommendations

Been out with Zulus again tonight foxing - the in built IR has an auto mode which works really well.

At 100m the image is perfect - tried at 180m and it is still perfectly usable.

I set the zoom to 10x and it was stable - I was using a tripod and it was too shaky at 20x - This could be down to me and the cold 🥶 On a bipod it's better.

Next time I'm out I will test it with Ludicrous Lumins Wraith and see what difference that makes but that's almost as big as the scope 😂

im a bit shaky with my tripod, but it is my camera tripod, although its a decent manfrotto one i think the legs, especially the bottom section are a little thin for having a rifle on, then again it might just be me 😁

did i read somewhere you can set it up for multiple rifles, thinking of getting another picatinny rail and using it on my HMR too, did i also see in bruces video he took it off his 22lr and put it back on with no loss of zero, if i change from one to another would i have to re zero every time?
thanks.

I think it has 26 zeroing profiles (A-Z) It looks like it will hold zero pretty well moving from one rifle to another

It has up to 26 different zeroing profiles so, you could zero it on your 22 and save that profile (say profile A) then zero it on your HMR and save that profile (say profile B)
You should then be able to swap the scope between rifles just changing the profile to match the rifle the scope is mounted on

Cheers

so iv sussed out the A and B for the zeroing on the scope menu, iv entered all the bullet info on the app, one saved as 22lr and the other as HMR, both sent to the scope, so tomorrow i will zero it and save it as B on the scope, does that sound about rite, or when using the hmr do i have to change it over on the app too,
thanks,

Not quite
You can save up to 26 zero profiles in the scope and as many ballistic profiles in the app as you want, but you can only have one ballistic table in the scope at any time
If you have sent the ballistic profile for your 22 and then sent the ballistic profile for your HMR, the HMR profile will have overwritten the 22 profile so the HMR profile will be the only ballistic profile in the scope
To check this, open the Menu, go to System Settings and then to Version No where the ballistic table name is shown
So, if you have been shooting with your 22 and you want to use the scope on your HMR, you need to do the following (as well as physically moving the scope from one rifle to the other)
a. In the scope zero reticle menu, select the zero profile you have already set up for your HMR
b. In the app, select the ballistic profile for your HMR, open the ballistic table for that profile and then send it by bluetooth to the scope
c.In the scope, check that the HMR ballistic table is actually the active ballistic table using the Menu/ System settings/Version No described above

Keen to hear from anyone using the Zulus on centrefires, as most of the content online is from the airgunning community. I was about to purchase an Alpex for a .243 as they are now just over £500 without the IR, but I might hold off for a Zulus now.....
Same as me. I have this Bergara BA-13 and was thinking of putting an NV on it. I have a C50 on my Blaser (easy on and off in exchange with a conventional scope) but want to keep the Bergara as light as I can. So my debate is the Arken Zulus or the Sightmark Wraith HD Mini 2-16x32. The latter has 60mm eye relief which should suit the heavier recoil better, but it is a few hundred quid more expensive. It also has 5 different sight profiles. Whatever, I can always put this on to my .17 HMR!

There is a guy on the airgun forum who is using a Zulus on a 308
He wears glasses and has the scope set up so that the end of the rubber eyecup is 5mm from the front of the glasses
This allows him to just see all of the screen
When he fires the rifle, the recoil does cause the eyecup to contact the glasses but he says it does not cause him any discomfort and he is happy to shoot the rifle with this set up
With regard to a Zulus or a Wraith HD mini 2-16x32, I have tested both and there is no debate - the Zulus is a country mile better than the Wraith

What is the minimum working distance for the Zulus, I believe the Digex C50 operates down to 3meters .(could be wrong )
