I missed what the final straw was that caused him to be banned.

I have seen admin quite rightly chucking folk off the site for being trolls, ****s and in general antagonistic a**e holes but I always took what 6pointer said with a pinch of salt and he really does have a lot of experience on deer that it seems a shame not to have his input...

Personally, from the few times we spoke, I always found him both knowledgeable and with a good sense of humour that some obviously didnt 'get'. All part of life's rich tapestry and a shame he isnt still here

When I first joined this forum D took time to give me some good impartial advice, when I was out on his ground with him he could not have been more helpful and supportive.
A top bloke, who is happy to pass on his knowledge to those of us keen to learn and become better stalkers.

He`s always been good to me very helpfull and always has time to share knowledge im sure its about time we had him back as we all have differing views on the way other people go about things and everyone has a few heated moments on the keyboard but i for one think he would be an asset and a wealth of information and should be here and able to help people who might not have the expences or time to travel the country to further their knowledge.....

I PM'd admin this morning suggesting 6pointer had a lot to offer the site, not least the very cheap or at times free if you booked a stalk, AW input. I heard of some AW's making thousands by dangling a carrot in front of some folk.

What folk like Davie offer to new stalkers is very creditable and obviously for the love of our sport regardless of whether or not you agree with his opinions at times.

John got back to me saying that it has all been noted and he will discuss the matter with the other site owners.

Cannot ask for any more than that really...

Howa no one should be aggressive to other members of a forum and i am sure you really didnt mean to use that word. I have looked for an aggressive post and cannot find one. Now abuse thats a good word to use and i am sure means lots of things to differnt people. From calling a name to some one interfearing with children. You type some quite colourfull posts your self and the swear box would be full had the forum block not been in place. You need to take deer stalkers as you find them they are not all members of st huberts some have came up the hard way and done very well. Live and let live and make sure you stay safe.

If some of the heated discussions that have taken place on here were in person over a pint, the comment would have reached no further than 'wind yer neck in...' or 'your talking pish man...'.

The problem on here is that people can grow to 6'7'' tall and weigh 22st by hitting a keyboard a bit harder.

I did not always agree with 6pointer and we exchanged a few PM's to that end but I still think some folk take opinions too personally. A direct assault on someones character, honesty or integrity is one thing, but simply disagreeing or offering an alternative opinion is another and surely no adult is so thin skinned as to not to be able to ignore it or respond with, 'whatever mate...'.

Differences in opinions and debates over methods, dogs, rifles, ammo, clothing etc etc etc IMO are all part and parcel of a vibrant and interesting forum with contributors having mutual respect for others views but the above which may or may not have some connection to 6pointer has no place. IMO For the good and furtherance of the whole forum the above type of posts must be stamped out. What would appear to be personal disputes and vendettas have no place in any forum.
