Pard 008P LRF Model Firmware

I have just received a new model Pard 008P LRF having just gone through the menu it’s firmware is R43 V2.02 I see on Blackwoods Outdoors there is a version V2.05, 2 questions

1) Is it worth the effort to download it and what do you gain

2) How easy is it for someone who is OK tech wise but not a semi nerd (Apologies in advance to Nerds both full and semi)

Don't bother, the "improvements" in V2.05 are not worth the risk of screwing up the process and finishing up with a bricked 008P.
