poor customer service from zeiss im very disappointed indeed

Super service from Zeiss as always.. i've always found they've gone out of their way to help whether its advice on kit i own or replacements bits that i've lost.

Sad to hear, I rang Zeiss (must admit I speak German) booked in my 20 year old binos for a service and sent them off. 3 weeks later I got a bill for €240 and paid it. They sent me an immaculately overhauled set of binos back. Seems a shame if they aren't playing ball due to a language problem. Happy to call on your behalf if you need a translator.

every time I've sent my Swarovski bino's off for service they have never yet charged and they have always replaced things like eye piece covers etc for free,on the objective lense on my el's I had a scratch,I got a phone call from customer service to tell me they were sending me a new pair rather than replace the lense,now that's customer service you just won't beat :-D
 
I stopped buying Zeiss about 6 years ago because of their awful customer service. After seeing Malcs post that the team have changed and the positive comments from a few others on here i might give them a try again next time i buy a scope.

Good to hear your problem is sorted out.
I've had Swarovski products, Schmidt & Bender & Zeiss for many years. Service from Zeiss has in my experience always followed in a far behind 3rd place.
I still have a Zeiss scope and it's fine even having seen a lot of action over the years. However, I'd always look to the other two for optics first should I need more.
 
Leica Mayfair sent me new Objective Covers FOC no problem. Did have to wait a bit as they were out of stock. New ones are improved with stronger hanging strip.
 
‎I sent a PM inquiry re an 8x56 Victory model to the SD Zeiss representative on the 1st September. The reply redirected me to Zeiss Customer Service and contained their e-mail address.

13 days later and not even an acknowledgement receipt.

lost the screw out of a unsupported (in this country)zeiss scope target turret.

no questions like why have you got that scope,

screws and 2 new target turrets came through the post in 2 days,

cant complain then again I am a ZEISS PRO VERMIN CONTROLLER :) and have been using zeiss SCOPES for over 10 years.
