Me too, actually, but I found this in a pawn shop two years ago half buried under cheap cameras and "fantasy" knives and the owner seemed glad to be rid of it for $265 US. :shock: I couldn't pass it up. It has proved to be a boon though. I test a lot of ammunition and it was this barrel length that old Capt Wesson had in 1935 when he went around the globe testing his new magnum on game. It does allow maximum performance from a revolver. And it shoots like a house-a-fire ...once I get it unlimbered from it's undercarriage, of course.;)~Muir

My .270 Tikka M695 re barrelled with a Border Barrels stainless barrel, T8 moderator with neoprene sock, Leupold 3-9x40 with Butler Creek caps, Harris Bipod and Z Aim sling.

The bullets that I use are Norma 110grn V-Max Hornady, I use these for ANYTHING I shoot.

When the rifle is being used as the estate rifle at the stags I put the bullets up to Federal 130grn.

I also have a 243 M595 with the same scope and bipod, since I have found the 110grn for the .270 I havent used it.

A BSA .22 Hornet, a good little vermin rifle.
