Just seen this, anybody else keep free range chickens , looks like i'm going to be busy building a larger pen for my birds to go into Lock Down (sounds familiar :-| )
From December 14, it will be a legal requirement for all bird keepers to keep their flocks indoors under new measures agreed by the Chief Veterinary Officers for England, Scotland and Wales.

All bird keepers must also follow biosecurity measures to limit the spread and eradicate the disease.

I read it as indoors, or in a run of 25mm to 50mm mesh?
GOV.UK
It is generally recommended that netting should have a maximum mesh size of 25mm although for exposed areas or where heavy snow fall can be expected, a larger mesh size of up to 50mm may be appropriate. You should, where appropriate, consult commercial suppliers of anti-bird netting for advice and further information on equipment
