Private number plates.

Anybody with a Daihatsu Fourtrak i have retention on B164TRK would happily sell not planning another.
I have a couple more too, i inherited one but never put it on a motor not really fussed for them.
The big money ones are the old area plates like SY12 or CH10 used to see HM1 kicking about years ago mental money.

I had H7TEK on a Lotus Elan which I bought, I saw it when I went to look at the car and immediately bought it.
Once I had the car I took the number off and put it on retention. I then emailed every company I could find with Hitec in their name,
A very nice gentleman came back to me and said he would take for what I considered to be a fair price and we both finished up very happy.
The last I heard it was on a very expensive electric Porsche.
I have an even better one on my own car which is three letters (my initials) and 66.
Offers on the back of a 5K note please.

Ahem...........of course the Private number plate you own may be a gift from a lovely and caring member of your household - and it would be churlish to be ungrateful to my wife (oh what a giveaway!).....
All I need is a nice new bike or car to put it on.......

I have a few for investment purposes, there are a few helpful brokers out there if you are after something specific also Facebook groups but be mindful of scammers etc

Still available today but the 1 ABC style are horrendously expensive.

The best I ever saw was the MD of Dunlop, again in the 70’s it was A1, now that’s a number plate.
Rochdale’s Mayoral car has/had DK1. (DK being the towns official car reg back in the old days)
Rumour was Dave King, a funny man back then wanted to buy it but was refused.
In the 1960s a local car dealership had DK2.
KB.

You can also change then to cover up the letter coding of where you bought the car.
So if you had the first 2 letters of a place you wouldn’t want to be associated with you could change the reg and nobody would know the origin of where the car came from.

I’m actually after an SS number plate, that was the original region plate for East Lothian

Not cheap mind.

Great Investments if you can get the right ones with the right name, I've got a couple which will be passed to my adult kids or maybe the grandkids.
