Of course your happy with it, its your side line. Your a driving instructor. You dont need the income , its not your job, I just hope that the HMRC know about the income. Its called moonlighting.


You wanted a windup Davie, thats why you put the post up. Lets have some answers then. Whats your pass rate? what do you charge an hour ? and can you justify it? Oh and can i do your job part time for a fraction of the price and then crib what you charge?

John thanks for the clarity on the buck you are correct just an average young to middle age buck and at £120 i don't think you are to dear and that is down to the people you take out.

Daily Stalking: Stalking Fee: £60.00 per outing
Trophy Fees: Roe Deer

Cull Roe Bucks £ 60.00
Cull Roe Bucks (over 4 Points) £125.00
Roe Buck (6 points non-medal) £225.00
Bronze Medal £400.00
Silver Medal £600.00
Gold Medal £950.00
Roe Does £ 50.00

Fallow Deer
Prickets £ 50.00
Bucks £150.00 (Non-medal heads)

Red, Sika, Chinese Water Deer and Muntjac stalking can be arranged by us through other companies upon request.
Missed Shots at Deer £20.00 per miss

6pointer I have a friend who is wanting to complete his level 2, how much would charge him for the outing, the portfolio, and to shoot a buck like the one in your photograph? Cheer Rich
 
This post started good natured with 6 pointer asking who would charge a Representative fee for the the Buck in his photo, it has now turned in to something nastier.

Why should anyone display their charges on an open forum, I have no idea, you get all that information when you make an enquiry there is absolutely no reason for it to be made public.

I partly contract to an estate all the days are let through an agent , while I know what the estate gets and what percentage the agent takes it is none of my business, I am paid a fee to take out the clients end of, if you want to know what a day costs ask the agent.

In my other stalking my clients are all repeat, a group, club , syndicate call them what you will, not sure how best to describe as not a syndicate as in the normal perception of one, still accompanied and pay for the usual things outing fees etc that you pay for when you take stalking but the addition of having all the stalking exclusively , I don't advertise I have not advertised since 2000 been in this game a long time and taken me a long time to get to this position.



Some of these clients have been with me for over thirty years now stalking with the Grandsons of some of the original clients.

So it looks as if I may be doing something right

I don't advertise on here in fact I don't advertise anywhere anymore,I don't need nor want anymore clients so why in the hell should I make my prices public.

Davie you are happy not to charge trophy fees nothing wrong with that, so why the sour grapes about those of us who do so.

Difference is purely and simply you are a recreational stalker, which is night and day from making a living from it

Which is probably why you are the one wearing THE L PLATES oops sorry my mistake thats your other job.:rofl:

Davie, I will not display prices on here, and as my present clients are paying for exclusive rights the prices they are paying are not Representative of normal stalking rates.

Now if you are thinking of letting some more days and you are not sure how to price them I am sure some of us will give you an idea by PM .

Note to 6pointer - I'm a resident Estate stalker rather than a pro stalker so this is nothing to do with me really, and I don't even know you anyway. Not my scrap at all as, although I'm a professional stalker in that I do it for a living, I get paid anyway and don't have to rely on generating my own clients in my own business to earn a living. But I'm also a very old man and was wondering if you'd accept a word of advice from a Nearly Dead Person who's learned a bit over the years ?? BACK OFF ! You're losing this one - and ever so badly at that. Hands down in fact. Your arguments are getting beaten shiteless because they don't stand up to scrutiny since you're arguing purely from the view of an amateur client rather than from a platform of understanding properly the business that these guys are in and the manner in which it works. They're entitled to make their living in their own way and I think they've been at it long enough for us to figure they must be doing something right. You can't win this one you know, and it's not doing you much in the way of favours.
No more than a bit of advice and just my own personal view, and that's all I've got to say on it.

But these guys have been trading with reputation behind them, and therein lies the major difference. Thought we all knew that. Sorry but the Rogue Traders argument doesn't quite float on this one.
