Pulsar c50

Definitely.... They have the Same characteristics and looks.... Dusk mode and all that... Pulsar might just edge it but a comparison would be interesting... 🤙.

What are the like compared to pard 008
Why don’t pulsar fit range finder as well
I had the latest version of the pard 008 lrf
Side by side yesterday and both of us thought the pulsar was by far better picture wise.

But I would like to see a lrf on c50

I did try my old man's add on range finder yesterday on the c50 which worked fine, I mounted it on the side picatinny rail on the fx impact, this proved successful because if you opened your left eye and looked down you could see the range better than the side of the scope, so I ordered 1.

But this adds to the price.

Hello all!!

So, Bit of a tech nerd/optics fan here.

I’ve been a long time user of the N450 platform since it was released.
So long as you use the right illuminator with them (standard pulsar one is bin fodder) they are great. The are not the best NV on the market, however their build quality, battery platform, menu system and zero ease of use far outweigh those competitors who may have a slightly better picture.

The C50 I have had about an hours use zero’ing at 100M in fading light in the rain, and I have to say I was ‘underwhelmed’ compared to say the Wulf 4k.
My hand was forced to buy the IR C50 (no non IR available for some time) so effectively it’s about £400 more than a Wulf and you get a free paperweight in the IR. It’s not £400 better than the Wulf IMHO, in fact the Wulf may have this day night scope nailed.
I’m back out on New Year’s Day and will report back……….
Ive been told the wraith is better at night. I too would begrudge paying for an IR I don't want so will be buying the Infiray TD50L

I would not have brought the ir by choice but I had too and to be fair I have found it no problem. I haven't used it at range yet. But I haven't thought I better put on my solaris yet.

My opinion on irs is that they need to be fully adjustable power and beam to be versatile.

No idea if the above will work ok but this is tonight in damp conditions with rabbits between 60 and 220 yards. The video is wobbly because it’s the scope off the rifle being hand held. The video starts off with the standard IR on minimum before I crank it up to the max. The rabbit against the hedge above the fence posts is at 220 yards. The ones in the open field are 60 to 120 ish. Through the scope I would say the 220 yard rabbit was clearer and I would say shootable if there had been a backstop. I don’t think the standard IR would be much good beyond this range on rabbits. Larger stuff in clearer/dryer conditions maybe.
