Pulsar c50

People are getting very good results with the Dark Engine ID on this.

Cheers

I am indeed Clive, with the Wulf 4K. Just waiting now to see what people are using now with their Digex C50`s or Infiray TD50L. Hopefully some will be using the DE, to give me some idea of what to choose for my next purchase.

May be not enough/correct IR used, In can make a big difference, along with weather conditions.
I'm warming to the td50l now. Sits nice and low and without the rubber eyepiece a better picture through the scope. Good enough for deerstalking I'd say. Just waiting for the dark engine ID off Clive now

We know these are great at day time and dusk but night time footage so far falls short imo , just like the old digex

To be honest it looks 100x Better threw the scope than it does on video

Out of interest, have you managed to look through a C50 yet, interested to see your thoughts once you have?
All video on you tube deteriorates due to the system we are told.
Having owned a 450, it easy to use but what let it down for me and others was the sensitivity to IR.
I am hoping that the C50 is as good as they say.

No I haven’t looked through one yet but mates digex 450 I thought it was just ok and like you said ir sensitive . Infact he had one of Clive’s new ir but absolutely awful
Ended up using a very cheap one about £15 and works a lot better apparently

I was out with mine last night , and been totally honest I found it superb,
I didn’t bother with the ir it came with , I went straight for the dark engine and after a 2 shot zero , I had a play . In day light it’s really good and I found the picture better than the part 008 , FOV better , a crisp sharp image , and able to see hairs at 500 yards ,
now turn to dust mode and it’s a different level , I don’t know how but it turns the picture back to day light and is really really good
after dark and in black / white , with the dark engine on top the sight picture is in my eyes is about as good as it gets , crisp clear and again a picture perfect for me anyway , am I glad I invested yes , will I be selling the pard 008lrf yes , I’m even considering Selling the thermion xq50 , hear Is last night’s efforts one took at 170 yards second 195 DA1FBCEC-E134-4709-A438-4DAFB23C2315.webp

Good shooting David. 👍

Are you using the standard Dark Engine or the new Dark Engine ID?

Cheers

why would you want more than one rifle 🤷
Is that a serious question?
Because I can’t shoot foxes out of my window with a rifle suitable for Red stags. The neighbours wouldn’t appreciate it. Because I don’t see the sense in walking for hours with a heavy rifle suitable for shooting crows from the truck. Because of any number of other reasons I can’t be bothered to type.
