Pulsar c50

Second time lucky. Two videos the first you need to skip to the 2 min mark because editing it corrupts the file for some reason…

No idea if the above will work ok but this is tonight in damp conditions with rabbits between 60 and 220 yards. The video is wobbly because it’s the scope off the rifle being hand held. The video starts off with the standard IR on minimum before I crank it up to the max. The rabbit against the hedge above the fence posts is at 220 yards. The ones in the open field are 60 to 120 ish. Through the scope I would say the 220 yard rabbit was clearer and I would say shootable if there had been a backstop. I don’t think the standard IR would be much good beyond this range on rabbits. Larger stuff in clearer/dryer conditions maybe.

Not sure the IR is the one I'd use and wasn't overly impressed until I saw the rabbit on 14x was very clear. I would love to see the whole screen doubled to 7 mag 👍

I will try again probably tomorrow with a more stable rest. It’s very hard to focus and adjust the IR as well as hold the dam thing. I think there is a few clear moments in the full 4 mins of video.

Probably not going to get a media job for pulsar anytime soon

Looks good Jason
I should get mine tomorrow, and ill try the srx on it and also the the wraith x2/3 and the black sun dark engine
and see what is best at range
thanks for taking the time out

Where is the link boss

From the footage I've seen (albeit limited), the Wulf 4K daytime image seems to hold up better when zoomed than that on the C50. If the C50's night image isn't significantly better than the Wulf, or indeed the Pard 008, one has to ask why pay £3/400 more for it?

Personally I think we are paying the extra for something that looks like a conventional scope. I doubt either the iray or pulsar will better a wraith pard008 or wulf 👍
