My mate told me about the lever tonight trouble is I nearly put my back out yesterday lol hopefully the bushes will clear the problem thanks for all the help guys .

dear Donr Shoot Dear they only put the decompressor lever on the early 350 and the 300 range after that all Honda atv's had a centrifugal decompressor that kicks in at the critical time as you pull it over, the worst bit is when it snatches the rope back out of your hand lol cheers keith

Nope, the worst bit is when the single cylinder diesel in my old Benford dumper rips the handle from your grasp as it fires up.
A/ It hurts, a lot.
B/ Where the handle lands can hurt even more

My apologies, thanks for putting me right. I haven't needed to pull or kick start one for quite a while and I knew there was an easy way to turn them over on every model I've had so just assumed they all had the decompression lever jobbie. I have had the rope snatch though..
