Quality Rifle Case / Bag?

Ogdens are made in the U.K., they don’t use cotton, (which rots) for stitching, some others do.
They are very well made, I have abused the xxxx out of mine and it stills works well. In fact, at this stage, 2 rifle bags and a roe sack and a pack away sack. Basically I am a walking advert for him.
And, he is a nice bloke.

Wow Ogdens gets a lot of love and no negatives so far
Been on the website and they seem competitively priced against other quality bags
I like the support of British small firms as well 💪

The thing to be asking yourself is are you willing save money and have the handles/shoulder strap break and deposit your expensive bangstick to the floor with a thump!?

Buy once cry once, you have expensive kit in that bag/case...treat it to a quality item. I have an Aim but if buying another I'd probably go Ogdens...Aim quality has lessened in recent years
That’s why these parts should be of quality butt end leather (- as opposed to shoulder leather) and hand-stitched onto the slip body, so they do not suddenly give way.

If you know, you know.

Fair shout, I was referring more to drag bag style of gunbags...which of course i didnt make clear 🤦🏻‍♂️ lol

I have an Ogdens bag which I really like. Excellent quality and value. Phil is a very nice chap too.

I've got an AIM drag bag for my F class rifle. It's well made and does what I need it to. I think they are made in China now. For that reason if I replaced it I would get Ogdens equivalent.

At the risk of being boring, I have an Ogdens tactical slip I bought second hand off here and it is superb, I can’t fault it.

The Weihrauch HW100 Deluxe gunbag is superb, made in England by Croots I believe, top quality and I carry my centrefire rifles in it, any nosy bastard is quickly reassured that my 'gun' is a low powered target air-rifle, bonus.

Was making them for professional hill men in the highlands before they were popular with others. Dragged through peat bags and heather where Stalker and Rifle crawled for hundreds of yards to get to the firing point - carrying the thing on your back in those circumstances does not work. The dragging point needs to be stout too, and the fixing requires some thought.

For shotgun and rifle slips plus bags and luggage look at, QGS, Quality gun slips will make you a slip that fits your rifle. I bought my first QGS rifle slip 40 years ago and still have it plus three others. The fourth I picked up over Xmas. That slip is custom made to fit my double rifle.
