Razor clams

Very true, I wouldn't venture to far to be honest but will keep my wits about me
You was sitting on one of the most delicate estray foods when on the marsh with me Tom...

Too busy watching duck go past.... 😇

No razor clams in the BW or Crouch... if you look on the sea wall after low tide you will see what the oyster catchers have been eating...

We were after the ducks then in all fairness 😂 one of the locals I walk the dog with said he has found them digging before and pointed me in a rough area so will take a look and see what happens at somepoint

Answer B. Still not sure :tiphat:

After watching a James martin episode where he cooked razor clams I'm interested in trying to get some. Anyone have any tips on what to look out for on beaches/foreshore to indicate they may be there?
Be very cautious of which beaches , many harbour dangerous levels of pollutants and natural chemicals effecting shellfish !

Cheers I've been looking for some water quality data, further down there's Mersea which is classified as bathing safe and I've not been able to find anything else about the bits closer to me but I'm trying to find that out
