Reloaded 17 in 6x47 lapua

I know this is an older post but i'm due to collect my 6x47 Lapua tomorrow and would appreciate if anyone has some load data for Reloder17 and 105 gr amax

Off the top of my head 39gr with amax and VLD's.
Superb calibre and intersted to hear how you get on.
Out of interest do you know what neck yours will be. I think mine is 272 which is supposed to be a no turn but it's started doing better with a slight cleaning cut of sized brass

I'll confirm the neck size later today.

Unfortunately it'll be a few weeks before i have chance to shoot it. The build is actually 6 weeks earlier than scheduled (due to the wait on a WL barrel) and for once those German's have let themselves down by delivering early on their promise .

I'll keep you informed in a few weeks time

Hi bk,
you state in your post that your neck size is 272 which is a no turn neck, and it has started to shoot better with a slight cut of brass, this is possibly due to the case neck being equalised, you may find that only one side or part of the neck has been cut, so when you load that round the case neck and head sit more square in your chamber, this is the current though at the moment.

Yep absolutely, just a cleaning cut and its sweetened everything up well
