Response time and performance of the SD server

I am increasingly experiencing issues with the performance of this site.
And it is this site, any other pages load normally on my devices.

Are you using any VPN or just your normal connection? It's been fine for me.

Try off your mobile (make sure you aren't connected to your home broadband)?

Rider, It can be a little slow at times, throw a few wobblies, and when maintenance is required. But normally spot-on, CSL and the other owners seeming to be doing a grand job of keeping it good. I expect that they have to pay for bandwidth and server space, as of course they must. And pay for that by other means. Cut them some slack.

If you are trying to access via some circuitous route, from Germany, via your ISP there, well that might be slowing you down or delivering strange messages. Maybe more to do with your ISP, than the forum.

I am probably going to pay to support them soon.

Where else are you going to go to ? Impatience is not a virtue, even if you might think that instant gratification is to be expected, then go off on one, when it doesn't seem, to be working, instantly, for you.

Assuming that you get to read this ...

Access mostly from mobile device.... safari often hangs then doesnt load. Firefox no problems at all. Have you updated browser ??

I'm not using a VPN, just a regular 250 Mbit home access.

I think Safari may indeed be the problem. It is regularly updated, but it really seems that the problems I encounter only occur on my iPhone and iPad. All is fine on my PC. I guess I'll try to clear the cache on the Apples.

Can someone highlight what VPN is please
I use my i phone, IPad on Vodafone SIM cards and broadband at home and have had no problems apart from the occasional blip caused by no phone signal in the odd areas

It’s a virtual private network, let’s you connect to a host anywhere in the world that then let’s you get on the internet looking like you are connecting from the country/network you are connected to.
