Ridgleline Monsoon 11 Are the worth it?

I am seriously considering buying a ridgeline monsoon Smock. I would appreciate
If any of you good folk you recommend the smock or have any advice
Are the heavy? Are the breathable? Are the worth it?

i cant rate them enough, not heavy ,totally waterproof but not very breathable so you need to layer correctly if its cold have a few layers on the moment you get warm take them off so you dont sweat . i dont think any fully waterproof jacket will breath properly i dont wear much gear under mine as its windproof so i dont seem to feel the cold unless its really cold and then i use a thin liner ,atb wayne

Looked at this smock but bought the Deerhunter Tempest very pleased alot cheaper than a nomad

Mine is totally waterproof, I had it on in a torrential rain storm for a few hours and it did not leak.
It is definitely not breathable however so if you are sitting somewhere it is good but any strenuous walking gets you a bit (in fact very) sweaty.

Can't agree more with the comments,yes they are waterproof,not particularly heavy, but the inside lining is a black almost tarp material and you will sweat like a pig.
I've found you don't need an awful lot of clothing underneath, and it's a very functional smock, with handy large bino pockets and a rather large forgiving hood.
