Here're the ones I use most:
MRC 1999 in 7mm-08 built up by Mark Penrod of North Manchester, Indiana. Has a 24-inch Krieger barrel, McMillan Winchester Classic painted gray, Leupold STD mounts, and Leupold VX-III 2.5x8.
Ruger 77 Hawkeye in .223 Remington with a Leupold VX-2 3x9 40mm. The factory trigger was worked over, but it's otherwise as-issued. This has become my number one hog killing rifle.
Ruger No. 1 in 7x57 with a Leupold Century Limited Edition 3x9. It's had some trigger work, but it's more or less just like it left the factory.
Ruger 77 Mark II in .270 WCF with a Leupold Vari-XIIc 2x7. I had the scope upgraded to accept Alumina accessories and had the reticle changed to LRD. This is easily my most "pedestrian" rifle, but it's never let me down and has provided me with some great memories. (The quickest kill I ever made was with this rifle on a nice whitetail buck in 2006.) It's had its trigger worked over like the others, but it's otherwise as-issued.
Pictures of these with animals are posted elsewhere, but suffice it to say, I wouldn't feel under equipped on any deer-sized or hog-sized animal in North America or Europe.
